1: Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to

2: CUSCO
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Cuzco.
Upon arrival in Cuzco, we will meet you at the airport and transfer
you to your hotel. Afternoon guided city tour of the four ruins
nearby; the Sacsayhuaman Fortress overlooking the city of Cuzco,
a pre Inca architectural masterpiece; Kenko, a rock sanctuary
whose main attraction is the monolithic altar representing a
puma, the red Fortress of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, a beautiful
fountain fed by a spring forming a series of basins continue
to the city of Cuzco; the Main Square, the Cathedral and the

3: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
After breakfast, we will pick you up for a full day tour of
the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the village of Pisac,
founded during colonial times and set at the foot of a hill
crowned by the remains of an Inca city. On Sundays, Tuesdays
and Thursdays, in the main square, Indians barter their products
and artisans from all over the area sell their woven alpaca
wool blankets and ponchos, engraved gourds, antique reproductions,
jewelry, etc. On Sundays it is also the meeting place for mayors
from all the villages in the region, dressed in their traditional
costumes to attend morning mass. After lunch, we will visit
Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town which was not overthrown by
the conquistadores, and explore the ruins which tower above
it. Our last stop is the small town of Chinchero and there unique

4: CUSCO-WINAYHUAYNA-MACHU PICCHU
Early in the morning after a breakfast we take the train going
through the Andean pampas until the 104 where we will start
our small long walk in the Chachabamba area (2250m) that is
an archaeological site .after 3 hours of walking approximately
we will arrive at Wiñayhuayna area (2650m), an important
very well preserved archaeological site ,where we will have
lunch ,continuing until the "Inti Punko" from there
we will have an impressive view of Machu Picchu citadel.
A short way will lead us to Aguas Calientes where you have the
opportunity to relax at the hot springs. The Machu Picchu Inn

5: AGUAS CALIENTES-MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO
In the morning after breakfast we take the first bus to visit
the mysterious Machu Picchu citadel, scientifically discovered
in 1911 by a studious man named Hiram Bingham. Even today its
use is a mystery. It could have been a military refuge, a religious
centre, or a centre only for the virgins of the sun. Nobody
really knows. Free lunch is served and your afternoon is free
to spend as you like. At 4:00 return train leaves for Cusco.
